It's perfect to make on Christmas Eve for the whole family to enjoy. You can add any of your favorite toppings, like hot fudge, whipped cream, chocolate chips, marshmallows, and crushed peppermint. The possibilities are endless!

1/2 cup of heavy cream
1 cup of semi-sweet chocolate chips

1 teaspoon of pure vanilla extract
Directions:
Combine the milk, cream and chocolate chips in a saucepan over medium low heat. Cook until the chocolate has melted and make sure to stir frequently.
Mix in the sugar and cook for an additional 2 minutes. Taste and add more milk or sugar if desired. Once warm, remove from heat and stir in vanilla. Add a pinch of salt and cinnamon for taste.
